Le nom de la ville vient de Borvo, divinité gauloise des sources thermales. Eglise majoritairement XIIè, nef et transept romans, choeur à déambulatoire, trois chapelles rayonnantes et clocher de croisée XIXè. Façade occidentale à portail axial. Moyen appareil régulier de granit gris.
