Notre Dame de Châtres




 Place : Notre Dame de Châtres,  Saint Brice

Reste d'une abbaye d'Augustins fondée en 1077. Edifice Roman avec 3 coupoles sur pendentifs sur la nef, une coupole sur pendentif sur la croisée et surtout une charmante façade à arcatures, ajourée par un arc festonné, au portail polylobé (finesse des motifs sculptés ornant frises, arc et arcatures) qui est une des olus gracieuse production de l'art régional. Le choeur est du XIVe siècle. Le croisillon Nord a disparu.
