Abbaye de Cluny




 Place : Abbaye de Cluny,  Cluny

Fondée en 911 par Guillaume d'Aquitaine, son développement se fait en trois paliers : Cluny I consacré en 926, Cluny II consacré en 981 et Cluny III, démarré par Saint Hugues de Semur et consacrée par Pierre le Vénérable en 1130. Longue de 187m, l'abbatiale était la plus vaste église de la chrétienté.
