Église Saint Martin de Vic, datant du XIe siècle, possède un ensemble de fresques du XIIe siècle. Ces dernières furent découvertes par hasard en 1849 par l'Abbé Perigaud, qui avec l'aide de George Sand, démarcha auprès des autorités et obtint, grâce à l'intervention de Prosper Mérimée, son classement en monument historique.
