 Place : Saint Martin d'Ygrande,  Ygrande

Igoranda, ou frontière en Gaulois, désignait peut-^^etre ce village comme frontière entre les territoires biturige et averne. L'église faisait partie d'un couvent bénédictin, réuni ensuite à Souvigny. Le clocher fut sauvé de la démolition à la Révolution par un habitant qui l'appela le 'ralliement des montagnards'.
